Oooh, Betty! This month sees everyone’s favourite 1970s TV comedy, Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em come to Crawley’s Hawth Theatre for five nights with much-loved comedian Joe Pasquale starring as the loveable but accident-prone Frank Spencer, Sarah Earnshaw as his put-upon wife Betty and Susie Blake as his disapproving mother-in-law, Mrs Fisher.
The most successful TV sitcom of the decade gave us the hapless Frank and his long-suffering wife Betty with catchphrases galore and a never-ending list of disasters including roller-skating escapades and runaway chickens. This stage production is written and directed by Guy Unsworth which is based on the TV series by Raymond Allen and runs from Tuesday, May 22 to Saturday, May 26.
Joe Pasquale is a national comedy treasure and one of the top-selling live comedians in British comedy today. He appeared in talent show, New Faces and went on to win reality TV show, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and host the legendary gameshow, The Price is Right. Susie Blake’s incredible career includes Wicked, Blithe Spirit and had us in stiches in The Victoria Wood Show.
We have teamed-up with The Hawth Theatre to offer you a pair of tickets for the opening night of the Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em run in Crawley on Tuesday, May 22.
