Planning a journey this August?

Summer holidays mean trips out and around Sussex, so if you’re planning a journey, this new website might come in handy.

The new online journey planner for West Sussex has been launched by the County Council.

Travel West Sussex (www.travelwestsussex.co.uk) gives you routes for car, bus, train, bike, and by foot using real-time public transport information. As well as this, you can get information on estimated journey times AND how many calories you could burn by choosing that option.

County Council Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, John O’Brien said: “www.travelwestsussex.co.uk is a useful tool when you are considering which method of transport you want to choose.

“For the first time you can consider car sharing along with all your other travel options.

“It is mobile friendly and adapts the way it is displayed depending on the device you use.”
