Drive-In & Enjoy A Movie In Mid Sussex

Until Sunday, December 22, film fans of Mid Sussex can enjoy popcorn under the stars as the South of England Showground continues to host a drive-in cinema held in conjunction with Cinestock UK.

Visitors to the showground can sit back and relax in their cars and take advantage of the giant screens and PA system installed at the South of England Showground’s 360ft Abergavenny Barn.

Seasonal greats to get filmgoers in the festive spirit include National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, Die Hard, Home Alone, The Grinch, and The Polar Express being show this month.

Iain Nicol, chief executive of the South of England Agricultural Society, which owns the venue, says: “There’s such a vast range of films on offer and, with the added benefit of food being delivered to your cars, it’s like the classic American drive-ins of old, with an indoor twist to allow for the vagaries of the British weather!”
