Local business Greenaway Residential Estate Agent donates to Crawley’s ‘Jets’ Wheelchair Rugby Club after lottery funds withdrawn due to COVID-19.
Local Estate Agents Greenaway Residential based in Crawley, West Sussex, whenever it can like to help great causes in the community. Usually, this is done via the company’s own charity the Greenaway Foundation which was founded to provide local community support. The Greenaway Foundation donates to families, for the purpose of alleviating some financial pressures, to bring joy and engage community spirit.
Greenaway Residential donated £250 to The Crawley Jets Wheelchair Rugby Club after learning the club’s financial support was being cancelled. The club had anticipated funding from the lottery which would have enabled them to start back up, making it the only wheelchair sports team in the area to restart after lockdown. The £250 is going to be used to pay for the next 6 training sessions at Crawley’s K2 leisure centre.

The Crawley Jets Wheelchair Rugby club is a part of Crawley RFC (Rugby Football Club). Crawley RFC has an established relationship with Greenaway Residential & The Greenaway Foundation, and themselves offer great support to the Greenaway Foundation Christmas efforts; which aims to deliver Christmas Lunches and gifts to hundreds of families that would otherwise go without across the county.
