Dyscover is a Surrey based charity which offers long term support hope & opportunity to people with Aphasia, and their families. Aphasia is a condition characterised by partial or total loss of the ability to communicate verbally or using written words. It is the result of injury to the brain – most commonly from stroke.

Dyscover offers a unique & comprehensive programme of conversation groups, courses & other activities, led by specialist Speech & Language Therapists & trained volunteers.

On the 3rd October, Fundraising Friends are promoting a concert in Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead, to raise funds for Dyscover. The concert, titled “Unforgettable,” will feature The Roger Hind Quartet, with guest singers Ruth Fahie & Gary Wright. They will be playing the music of Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald & Frank Sinatra, plus instrumental hits such as ‘Take Five’ & Desafinado.
