Chichester Cathedral Friends Celebrate 80th Anniversary

West Sussex-based charity, Chichester Cathedral Friends is celebrating 80 years since its formation, and to mark the milestone, the group, is staging a wide-range of events. Events began in October last year with the launch of the cathedral choir’s Lest We Forget CD to coincide with the anniversary of the end of the First World War.

This month, the group which aims to support the mission of the cathedral, and in the past three years alone has donated more than £375,000 to projects connected to the cathedral, will visit Germany with the cathedral’s choir, before next month, the group’s AGM with guest speaker, the Very Revd Jonathan Greener, Dean of Exeter.
