Big Road Ride

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or prefer a more leisurely ride, St Catherine’s Hospice wants YOU to join them for their Big Road Ride on Sunday 19th July.

Starting and finishing at Imberhorne School, all routes (60, 40 or 10 miles) are on marshalled roads and cycle paths, with feeding stations enabling riders to refuel along the way!

“The Big Road Ride is a fantastic, fun event for all abilities and levels of cycling enthusiasm,” Michaela Clements, Assistant Events Fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice says. “Take on one of three chip-timed distance options; 40, 60 or a family friendly 10 miles, and enjoy the beautiful Sussex and Surrey countryside.

Taking part and raising money can make a real difference to local people, for instance, just £46 can allow a patient to be cared for in the comfort and surroundings of their own home with an hour-long visit from a Community Nurse.”

Pre-registration (just £30) closes on 15th July, however, the Hospice events team will also welcoming on-the-day entries (£35). Children under sixteen can take part for free! To register visit: www.stch.org.uk.
