Town’s Hospice Bringing Art To Life With Hearts
This month, Crawley’s much-loved St Catherine’s Hospice is launching its HeART to Heart trail, its first community art trail which will put art installations with the theme of hearts in the community.
HeART to Heart, sponsored by Thakeham Homes, will give communities a unique chance to follow a fibre glass heart trail across Sussex and Surrey for the next three months, concluding in September.
Suzanne Davis, corporate fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, says: “We’re at the heart of our community. We work hard to help local terminally ill people do the things they love – art often plays a part.”
Local businesses are being invited to view the fibre glass hearts and learn about the inspiration behind their designs before hand picking a designed heart to sponsor for the duration of the trail.
Robert Boughton, group managing director of Thakeham, says: “Our relationship with St Catherine’s is extremely important. It’s great to continue our support of the hospice in such a fun campaign.”
