Reigate’s Crafter’s Markets Are Back

The Crafter’s Market, a contemporary local market, returned to Reigate last month, and now following a successful first market of 2019, organisers are getting preparations together for the next market.

Established three years-ago, The Crafter’s Market is a co-operative of five creative Surrey residents who worked over the winter to find a new venue for the market, now based at Nutfield Lodge in Redhill.

In 2016, crafters Sarah and Liz decided to hold their own market full of beautiful handcrafted items made by local people, they love crafts and wanted to have somewhere they could sell their work.

The market launched the 2019 season on Saturday, May 4, with craft workshops, craft stalls and businesses, food, and entertainment, ensuring a community-centric crafty-themed day.

Following the opening market last month, the next markets take place on Saturday, July 20 and Saturday, November 16 from 10.30am to 4.00pm with free entry and free on-site parking available.
