Lingfield’s Runners To Go The Distance For St Catherine’s

On Sunday, June 30 Lingfield’s runners will be getting their running shoes on to take part in the Lingfield 10s – scenic multi-terrain races starting at Lingfield College – there will be two races, 10-mile and 10k.

Each year Lingfield Running Club, a friendly and sociable club with more 200 members organises an event to raise money for a charity, this year’s good cause is Crawley’s St Catherine’s Hospice.

Organised and marshalled by volunteers at Lingfield Running club, the hilly and scenic 10-mile race which boasts stunning views at the top of Dry Hill has been a popular fixture in the running calendar for many years. The race headquarters is based at Lingfield College, RH7 6PN, the start time for both races is 9.30am.
