Felbridge WI Silver Sunday Afternoon Tea Proves Big Hit

In October, Felbridge WI Members welcomed local residents aged 65 and older to a special Silver Sunday Afternoon Tea Party which was held at St. Mary’s Church Hall in East Grinstead.

Sheila Noakes, who helped organise the event, said: “We are pleased to say feedback from guests has shown that they greatly enjoyed the company and the delicious homemade cakes and scones.” 

As well as traditional tea party refreshments, the afternoon featured the ever-popular game of bingo – house for the game was won by Hilda Garde from Silver Court Care Home.

This was the second year that the Felbridge WI hosted this free community event which, organisers hope will become an established fixture in its social calendar as an event for local residents.
