Diabetes Awareness Event

On Saturday 4 March, Burgess Hill Town Council will be holding a Diabetes Awareness Event, at Burgess Hill Theatre Club, from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

  • Free blood glucose testing – by a trained Diabetes Practitioner.
  • Health and Wellbeing advice – from MSDC Wellbeing Team.
  • Free Climbing Wall in Church Walk – and other games for children and adults alike, including the ever-popular Strike-a-Light, and a remote control car time challenge!

No booking is required for this event – simply turn up on the day!

Our aim is to get residents talking about their health and to raise awareness of diabetes.

Blood glucose testing is strictly for 18+ only, but families are welcome!

Kids can race against time with the remote control car time trial, or face their fears on the climbing wall – all for free, then adults can pop in and get their free tests!

Refreshments will be provided in the Theatre Club by event sponsors – Burgess Hill District Lions.

For further information on the event, please email communityteam@burgesshill.gov.uk
