Crawley MP Wears It Pink For Breast Cancer

Crawley’s MP, Henry Smith added a vibrant dash of pink to his usual attire in support of Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink fundraiser which took place last month on Friday, October 18.

Launched in 2002, Wear It Pink has raised more than £33 million, the MP called on town residents to join him and sign up for Wear It Pink to help support life-saving breast cancer research and support.

Speaking about the Wear It Pink campaign, Henry Smith MP said: “Every year in the UK, around 55,000 women and around 350 men are given the devastating news that they have breast cancer.”

In April, Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now merged to create the UK’s first comprehensive breast cancer charity with the aim that by 2050 those with breast cancer will live, and will live well.
