Antiques Roadshow Comes To Sussex

Sunday evening family TV favourite, the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow comes to Sussex next month, when the show will be filmed at one of Sussex’s most historic locations, Battle Abbey.

Presenter Fiona Bruce, and the Antiques Roadshow’s leading team of experts will be on hand to offer free valuations on visitor’s items including family heirlooms and car boot bargains.

One of the BBC’s most popular factual TV programmes, Antiques Roadshow attracts a weekly audience of around six million and each roadshow event often brings in around 4,000 visitors.

Fiona Bruce, presenter for 12 years of Antiques Roadshow says of the show: “So much of what you see on the Antiques Roadshow is about the story of an object and its owner as much as about its value. We are never short of people bringing along items that tell a hell of a story.”
