The First Ever FixFest Comes to South of England Showground, this August!

FixFest, presented by Fix Radio, is the UK’s first music festival for tradespeople taking place at The South of England Showground on Saturday, 30th August. We spoke to Fix Radio founder and CEO Louis Timpany about it.
So, Louis, what is Fix Radio?

Fix Radio is an online and digital radio station that has been bringing the trades together on air for over 8 years now. Radio is on, all day, every day, on most building sites across the UK. Whilst working on a site I identified the need for a station specifically for these guys, and in under a decade we have nearly ¾ million listeners and are the fastest growing station in the UK.

Why did you decide to start a festival?

We love our trades community and luckily, they seem to be passionate about us. So, we thought it would be great to celebrate our industry by bringing the trades together in a field, with great music, great industry content, family entertainment and great beers! It’s the first ever music festival designed specifically for the trades!

What can ticket buyers expect?

A fantastic family day out. We’ve secured an incredible line up including Dizzee Rascal, Scouting for Girls, Toploader, The Cuban Brothers, and Oasis tribute Noasis – because the real deal didn’t seem to be available for some reason!
You can lose yourself in The Inspiration Zone (including interactive sessions with our specialist trade show presenters), the Trade Exhibition, The Powerhouse (wellness area) or simply at the bar, whilst the kids enjoy themselves on the mini diggers, the big wheel and “meeting the mascots”.

Plus, guests can meet trade influencers and presenters such as The Bald Builders who have over 3million followers, Ash Mahoney, Robin Clevett, Danny Madden and more.

Are Tickets on sale now?

Yep, very much so. Just £55 for a great day out, £100 for a family ticket, and kids under 14 go free. Plus, there’s VIP options too.

You could be in for a chance to WIN tickets to FixFest on Saturday, 30th August!
