Achieve Mindfulness In March

Achieve Mindfulness In March

Mindful March is a movement to help us all understand the value of mindfulness in our everyday life. This month why not make sure that you achieve mindfulness and feel the benefits all-year round by simply taking the time to find simple yet effective happiness, after all, as Buddhist monk, Thích Nhat Hanh says: “The best way to take care of the future is to take care of the present moment.”

Mindfulness is the energy that helps us all recognise the conditions of happiness present in our lives, and it is important to realise that you do not have to wait to experience happiness, it is here present. Mindfulness is when you are truly there as one – mind and body in unison – so, how can this be successfully achieved?

When your mindfulness becomes powerful, your concentration becomes far more powerful, and when you are fully concentrated, you have a chance to make a breakthrough in life to achieve things that perhaps you have otherwise not been able to achieve despite your very best intentions.

Avoid Social Comparisons
Avoid the temptation to compare yourself to others, this is simply not fair on yourself – you are unique to your experiences. Today, comparisons are greater due to social media, if you find yourself the result of an online comment, the postage stamp remedy is useful to bear in mind – write a list of people whose opinions matter to you in a small square – if the name is not in the box, ignore it.

Be More & Do Less
In 2020, we often find ourselves with long to do lists, whether at home or at work, however, it is important to focus more on your to be list. In short, think not about solely what you need to do and rather think about how you will do it, and instead focus on who and what is most important to you.

Live Your Best Life
It can sometimes feel that we are hurtling through life and not enjoying the moment, therefore make sure that you take the time to stop, look and listen to the everyday. Embracing a more sensory life can mean enjoying the sights and sounds around you that you may all too often neglect – things often termed the beautiful everyday – misty mornings rain drops, sunrises and sunsets, and stars.

Move On Up
Throughout life we have all been wronged in some way, however, it is important to
not let past incidents hold us back, so move on and in turn, move up. By letting go, anxiety and
stress should reduce, and you should be able to adopt a more positive frame of mind to meet future challenges.
