East Grinstead Shoppers Raise £6,000 For QVH Charity

Sainsbury’s East Grinstead’s year-long partnership with the Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH) Charity has seen the hospital’s charity receive £6,190 in donations from the store’s customers.

The charity supports the hospital with grants for items that are above and beyond what the NHS funds including medical equipment, patient wards, waiting rooms and medical research.

Sainsbury’s store manager, Liz Atwell said: “QVH Charity was picked as the Charity of the Year by our colleagues and customers. Sainsbury’s have been delighted that we could help support such a wonderful and much-loved hospital. We would like to thank all our customers, colleagues and the QVH hospital volunteers and staff for their help in raising this fantastic amount.”

If you would like to donate to help the charity do even more, make cheques payable to QVH Charity, and post to QVH Charity, Queen Victoria Hospital, Holtye Road, East Grinstead RH19 3DZ.
