Surrey Youth Club Back In Community Hands

A Surrey youth club is back in the hands of the community again in Weybridge for young people aged 13 to 17 living in the local area, with the club fully kitted out and offering a wide-range of activities such as pool, music, sports and a variety of other sessions guaranteed to bring interest and excitement to club nights.

Open from 6.45pm to 8.45pm on Friday nights at the cost of just £1 a week, the club also has a tuck shop providing healthy food and treats, it is hoped that the youth club can re-engage with
the wider Surrey community by providing a place for young people to relax have access to exciting and challenging opportunities.

Speaking about the youth clubs in Surrey run by Surrey Clubs for Young People (SCYP), Joyce Quinell, SCYP chief officer, said: “We provide youth workers at the club and a safe place for young people to meet.”
