Surrey’s Celebration Of Inclusivity & Diversity This Month

Surrey’s Celebration Of Inclusivity & Diversity This Month

This month will see Surrey’s first pride event with organisers aiming to celebrate, educate and connect the LGBT+ community across the county on Saturday, August 10.

At 11.00am the event, Pride In Surrey will feature a parade through Woking’s town centre to stand together as a community and celebrate diversity in the county of Surrey.

At 12.00pm, Woking Park becomes Pride Park for the day with free entry to the event with stalls, refreshments and entertainment from performers within the LGBT+ community.

The event’s organisers are looking forward to bringing to life Surrey’s first official LGBTQ+ pride event and are working with the UK Pride Organisers Network to make it a huge success.

Performers at the event set to include top acts including Eurovision star Michael Rice, Britain’s Got Talent’s Danny Beard, The X Factor’s Talia Dean and Lots Holloway, and 1990s act Livin’ Joy ft. Luzahnn.
