Exciting lineup for 2026 Spring Live!

The South of England Agricultural Society has announced that its annual Spring Live! event will take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April 2026. Running from 9am to 5pm each day at the South of England Showground, Spring Live! offers a country show packed with entertainment, activities and experiences for all ages.

New for 2026 is a headline performance from the RPM Biketrials Display, delivering adrenaline-fuelled excitement with four stunt shows daily. Car enthusiasts can enjoy rides in classic and sports cars courtesy of Sporting Bears, while visitors can also watch competitive lawnmower racing from the British Lawnmower Racing Association.

A firm favourite is the animal barn, where guests can meet Sussex cattle, Hampshire Down sheep and Tamworth pigs, alongside popular attractions including the Pygmy Goat Show, the South of England Alpaca Show, and reptiles and amphibians handled by the Hampshire Reptile Trust. There will also be a visit from the famous Watermill Wolves.

Children can enjoy circus skills workshops, wand-making, a chocolate workshop, Mini Monster Mania truck driving, donkey rides and The Sheep Show. At the Countryside Hub, families can follow the Fluffy Duck Trail and try milking the Society’s model cow, Clover. Outdoor pursuits include archery, axe throwing and bushcraft sessions, while the main ring hosts kite flying displays and live wood carving demonstrations.

Dog lovers are well catered for, with agility demonstrations, a dogstacle have-a-go area and Sunday’s fun dog show judging Best in Show. Meanwhile, the horticulture area will feature displays from the National Vegetable Society, vintage machinery, lavender-growing talks and flower arranging competitions.

Visitors can also browse artisan food, crafts and gifts from local producers, including a new Enterprise Zone for emerging businesses, plus plants for the garden. A wide range of street food will be available, or guests can bring a picnic to enjoy in the showground’s green spaces.

Show Director Corrie Ince said the event offers “a fantastic day out packed with countryside fun” for families, friends and even canine companions.

Tickets are available from www.seas.org.uk, and children under 16 go free. Dogs are welcome outdoors but not permitted in indoor areas.
