A night of music, dancing, and doing good – right on your doorstep

If you’ve been looking for a reason to rally your friends, soak up some live music, and enjoy a summer evening out – this is it. Greenaway Live! lands on Friday 11th July at Crawley Rugby Club and promises a one-night-only outdoor experience with a festival-style vibe and a feel-good purpose.

This pitchside charity concert is packed with local talent, a buzzing atmosphere, and an eclectic mix of well-known covers and original tracks that are guaranteed to get you singing along and dancing! Whether you’re into indie rock, acoustic sing-alongs, classic blues, or toe-tapping folk with a twist, there’s something in the line-up for everyone.

With familiar local face Chris Oxlade hosting the evening and The Sussex Show Girls keeping the energy high during set changes, the stage is set for a brilliant night out – all while raising vital funds for The Greenaway Foundation.

Tickets are just £10, and every penny from ticket sales will go directly to the charity’s work supporting financially vulnerable families across Sussex and Surrey.

From school uniforms and food to funding proms and day trips, your night out will help support those in our community who need it most.

Euphoria – 9.30pm

Genre-blending party band with decades of experience

Based in East Grinstead, Euphoria have been getting crowds on their feet for over 30 years. From classic rock and indie hits to TikTok bangers and pop favourites, their genre-crossing medleys promise something for everyone. You might’ve seen them lighting up the stage at Tulley’s Shocktoberfest – now catch them headlining Greenaway Live! Bring your dancing shoes and save your voice for some sing-along anthems – this band is here to get the party started.

Eric & The Claptones – 8.30pm

Feel-good rhythm and blues with a classic twist

If you love Eric Clapton, Cream, or a touch of old-school blues with a modern edge, Eric & The Claptones will be right up your street. A tight-knit band delivering powerful vocals, slick guitar solos, and a nostalgic vibe, they’re seasoned performers who always bring charisma and groove to the stage. Whether you’re a blues enthusiast or just love a good jam, their set promises to get you moving.

David Tonna – 7.30pm

Crowd-pleasing acoustic covers from across the decades

Originally from Crawley and now based near East Grinstead, David’s solo acoustic sets bring classic hits to life – from Bryan Adams and Springsteen to Oasis sing-alongs. Known for getting the audience involved, he blends passion, fun, and a powerful voice to create an unforgettable atmosphere. You might also have seen him gigging with his band Undercover Party People – now he’s taking to the stage solo, ready to get the crowd singing from the first strum.

Hurly Burly – 6.30pm

Indie folk with a pinch of punk and skank of ska

For fans of the Housemartins, Mumford & Sons, the Proclaimers, and the Levellers, Hurly Burly deliver hand-clapping, chant-along originals with sharp lyrics and a humorous take on today’s social issues. Based in Lewes and Brighton, they’ve built a loyal local following and are excited to be supporting Toploader in Kent this summer – this the perfect opportunity to catch them live much closer to home!
