Parveen was born in Azad, Kashmir and spent most of her life in Harringay, North London. Currently living in Crawley and working part time as a Youth worker, Parveen is a poet and storyteller and very much part of the Crawley community – engaging with and supporting various groups ranging from residents associations to writing groups. Parveen is also the co-founder of Culture Collective which celebrates, empowers and connects the South Asian community in Crawley- through roots, identity and heritage.
