Belfry Shopping Centre car park temporary closures for repairs

The car park at Belfry Shopping Centre will be closed for essential repair and re-surfacing of the entry ramp on two Sundays.

It will be closed all day on Sunday, July 24 with last entry at 4pm on the following three days: Monday, July 25, Tuesday, July 26 and Wednesday, July 27. It will then be closed again all day on Sunday, August 7.

Andy Nash, centre manager, said: “Unfortunately, we need to action these essential ramp repairs, but the only access to our car park is up the ramp. Re-surfacing cannot take place while the car park is open.’

“We are also very conscious that these essential works may cause some inconvenience to our neighbours and also that closing our car park will affect the thousands of users, our shops and, potentially, wider Redhill.’

“We have tried to mitigate and minimise the effect. After lots of constructive consultation with the council, I believe we have reached the best possible outcome of keeping the closure to an absolute minimum.”

Shopping centre opening hours will operate as usual.
